One Brick needs your help for Shamrock Fest
Washington, D.C. is home to the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Mid-Atlantic Region. For eight hours, Shamrock Fest hosts 10 stages with over 40 bands and DJs at RFK Stadium Festival Grounds. However, all that fun wouldn’t be possible without the support of, you guessed it, volunteers!
One Brick has taken on the monumental task of providing upwards of 150 volunteers to serve beer at Shamrock Fest. There’s still plenty of time to sign for the all-day event. Because so many people are needed, it’s a great opportunity to grab some friends and get involved together. Remember, with One Brick it’s not all work and no play. Volunteers will get a free T-Shirt, breaks with free food, free admission to the after-party, and free drinks at an upcoming One Brick happy hour.
A few extra details, Shamrock Fest rocks on rain or shine March 13, 2010. Volunteers are asked to be available to participate from 11:30am to 7:00pm. There’s an optional after-party on site from 7:00pm-9:00pm. All volunteers will have to participate in a short training session on handling alcohol per DC law. Keep in mind volunteers cannot drink before or during the event; no free drinks for anyone; and volunteers are prohibited from serving visible intoxicated persons. More on all that during volunteer training the day of the event.
